The last stop for Blast On The Bay – 1st Annual  Songwriters Festival was the all-time favorite, The Indian Pass Raw Bar . A clear cool blue sky greeted hordes of country music fans to meet and listen to Walt Aldridge, Will Rambeaux, Jillia Jackson, Thom Shepherd, Charlie and Dana Hunt Black. These guys rocked the front porch off the foundation. As you can see by the title , this was the 1st Annual Songwriters Festival, so if you missed it, make sure to mark you 2010 calendars now. Either way, I hope you enjoy my photos as much as I enjoyed shooting and listening to these incredibly talented songwriters.

The St. Joseph Bay Buffer and Aquatic Preserves Day on Saturday, October 3rd was awesome. The celebration is held each year to raise money and awareness of the valuable resources we have right here in Gulf County. Tons of activities , music and food are enjoyed by locals and tourist alike . What more can you ask for? Naturalist, Billie Booth gave a great talk on butterflies and showed his incredible photos. John Copps and Neil Jones fired up their harmonicas, banjo and guitars and entertained the crowd. They are fantastic. If you ever get a chance to listen to these guys you will not be disappointed. The day was filled with back-country tours of the preserve and boat rides out in St. Joseph Bay. Here are a few photos to whet your appetite for the next one in February, stay tuned.

Cool underwater stuff! After getting the underwater housing for my Bahamas wedding shoot, I’ve been experimenting with some ideas and here are some of the results. Let me know what you guys think!
